Australia Day Bunbury Wa

The annual Sky Fest Australia Day Celebrations is held on 26 January.  It invites the Bunbury-Geographe community to share in a nation-wide celebration of pride. The event is held at Bicentennial Square and the Graham Bricknell Music Shell. Sky Fest hosts an entertaining day out for the whole community. It is fully inclusive with live music, free activities, rides, and more.

Road Closures

There will be a small number of road closures throughout the day and evening, with more details to be released closer to the event date.

Getting to and from the event

There are a number of parking bays and car parks throughout the CBD which can be found hereand parking is free on public holidays, so no parking ticket is required on Australia Day.

However please be advised that the Blair Street/Foreshore Carpark and the Holman Street Carpark will both be closed for the event. 

Food and market stalls

Applications for food and market stallholders are now open.
We’re inviting you to ‘Express your Interest’ in participating in this iconic event as a food van/marquee or market stall.  If interested, please complete the interactive Expression of Interest form
