Enjoy an evening of world-class classical music with acclaimed violinist Peter Tanfield and prize winning pianist Shan Deng in recital. The world-class classical duo have partnered to present a sumptuous evening of fine music in the intimate surrounds of the Cube Theatre.
The recital includes an impressive repertoire from some of the world’s greatest composers, including French impressionist composer Claude Debussy and Belgian violinist and composer Eugene Ysaye.
Soloist and chamber musician Peter Tanfield was the finalist in the Australian of the Year Awards 2008 in recognition of his generosity in sharing his inspirational gift for communicating the joy of music making.
Well-known Australian-Chinese pianist, Shan Deng, is currently working in Hobart, Tasmania. She has toured overseas as a soloist with the Queensland Philharmonic Orchestra, and has appeared with many of the Australian Symphony Orchestras.
