Bunbury city will be buzzing from 1-9 of February 2019, with tickets to over 30 shows in more than 10 venues now on sale – just in time for Christmas!
- The majority of these shows will take place at our Fringe Hub, custom built and installed behind Good Earth Surf Shop, and will feature incredible Australian acts never before seen in the Bunbury Geographe region. Stand outs include renowned Australian comedian Tim Ferguson and his “sit down comedy” show, ‘A Fast Life On Wheels’. Amongst Tim’s many other achievements, he wrote and directed the comedy movie Spin Out, tours the world with comedy trio the Doug Anthony AllStars [DAAS] and has written bestselling novels, comedy manuals, and live shows.
His new live show sees this comedy legend rip the lid off his extraordinary life and reveal the terrors and tears of his worldwide escapades, as he battles Multiple Sclerosis (MS) – but, true to form, Tim says “I don’t ‘suffer’ MS. It suffers me.” Hilarious, touching and wicked, this show is hell on wheels.
Tickets are also on sale for Aria nominated singer Mojo Juju, who also recently picked up a Triple J award for best video and garnered rave reviews for her brutally honest title track “Native Tongue”, amassing new fans along the way. She has been called many things and yet she is forever hard to define. Formidable. Enigmatic. Fragile. Ballsy. Raw. By her own explanation, Mojo has never felt comfortable being categorized and is increasingly deliberate in avoiding labels and defying genres. It is only in experiencing her live shows that one can begin to understand the full breadth of this dynamic artist.
